Weekly Schedule Upcoming Events

Am HaTorah is a close-knit Orthodox synagogue where all Jews are welcome. Our membership consists of a dynamic group of thinking and talented professionals, actively engaged in understanding Torah philosophy, ethics, and concepts through open and honest dialogue.

We hold regular Shabbat and Holiday services, classes both on Shabbat and during the week, and various activities throughout the year, all of which are open to the entire Jewish community. Click here for more detailed schedule information.

Am HaTorah is affiliated with the Orthodox Union (OU) and the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington.

Our kehilla is growing and we'd love to have you join us for a Shabbos to experience the special warmth and closeness of our community!

  • Baruch Dayan HaEmes. We regret to inform you of the passing of long-time Am HaTorah member Gil Rosenberg A"H. An on-line memorial page where friends can leave reminiscences is available here. Condolence notes may be sent to Mrs. Minerva Rosenberg or Mrs. Gilbert Rosenberg, c/o Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. May his memory be a blessing.
  • Please note that Rabbi and Rebbetzin Singer are scheduled to return from vacation on Tuesday July 5th. If anyone needs to reach the Rabbi during his absence, he expects to be checking his email and voicemail intermittently when he can.
